Introducing Tatum -- a Terrier mix, born the last week of December. At 12 weeks, he is about 8 pounds and looks like a handsome Jack Russell terrier. He has a lot of energy, self-confidence, vocal talent and is quite smart.
Eager to learn and food-motivated, he is fun to train and demonstrates high intelligence. Tatum has lots of energy and plays with his foster brother non-stop. He is an enthusiastic eater and will ask for his meals with a lot of excitement and is a good eater.
Confident when meeting other dogs -- even large ones -- he plays nicely with them and reads their signals well. He has not been exposed to cats or other small animals; however, his breed has a tendency to have a high prey drive; thus, he may do best without those in his home.
After a rigorous playtime, Tatum enjoys a nice snuggle. He loves to be near his family and foster brother, but is happy to explore on his own sometimes, demonstrating some independence.
Outside is very exciting and stimulating for Tatum. He enjoys watching things that move or make noise -- which is almost everything! He is learning to walk on a leash nicely and enjoys taking walks, meeting people and going for car rides. Due to his self-confidence, he is excited to join in with you doing anything and everything!
Since he is just a young puppy, he is still working on potty training which is coming along nicely.
Tatum is doing well when asked to "go potty" or "do his business" outside or on pee pads inside when it's too cold to be out.
Tatum seeks a loving home with a family who will be dedicated to patiently training him to be a wonderful pet and reach his full potential. If this handsome, energetic, intelligent pup would be a good fit for your active family, please submit an application right away. Tatum is ready and waiting for you now!
