DESCRIPTION
Mason Needs a New Beginning
Sometimes life changes in ways we never expect.
Mason was adopted from Northern Lakes Rescue in 2020 and spent the last several years as a beloved companion to his dad. Sadly, Mason's dad passed away last fall, and despite his family's best efforts to keep him, they are now facing the difficult reality of finding him a new home.
At 10 years old, Mason isn't looking for adventure-he's looking for peace.
This sweet senior boy is happiest with a cozy bed, a trusted person, leisurely walks, and a predictable routine. He is in great health, enjoys spending time with other respectful dogs, and still loves getting out and about.
Mason's ideal home:
Adult-only home (no children)
Low-traffic, quiet environment
Someone who appreciates a calm companion
Respectful dog friends are okay
A family willing to give a senior dog the soft landing he deserves
Mason can become nervous in busy, chaotic environments and is not comfortable around young children. What he needs most is someone who understands that not every dog wants a bustling household-some just want a peaceful place to belong.
After losing the person he loved most, Mason deserves another chance to feel safe, cherished, and home.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
