Jet - Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Boerne, Texas

Say hello to Jet!

Jet is 2 months old and just 8 pounds, making him the smallest of his litter-but quite possibly the smiliest! This adorable little boy is pure happiness wrapped up in a tiny, beautiful brindle package.

Jet has a pretty special beginning. His mama is a sweet 30-35 pound scruffy girl who belonged to a homeless couple. Wanting Mama and her babies to have the safest possible start, they graciously allowed her to stay with one of our wonderful foster families where she could give birth and raise her puppies surrounded by love.

And Mama's story has a wonderful ending-the foster family fell completely in love with her and adopted her!

So Jet and his siblings were born in their foster home and raised around other dogs and children, getting lots of love, socialization and all the benefits of growing up in a home environment.

Jet is a happy, joyful, playful little guy who seems to think every day is a reason to smile. He's the smallest one in the bunch, but apparently nobody told Jet that-he has plenty of personality packed into those 8 little pounds!

Like any young puppy, Jet will need continued potty training, basic manners, patience and plenty of opportunities to learn and explore. Most importantly, he needs a family ready to enjoy life with a little boy who wakes up thinking, "This is going to be the BEST DAY EVER!"

Jet is fueled by happiness, powered by puppy kisses and ready to fly straight into his forever home!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
