Since entering foster care, Pixie has made steady progress. She now allows brief snuggles and enjoys being close to her trusted humans. She will need a patient, understanding family willing to let her grow at her own pace. Any children in the home needs to be at least 6 years of age.

Pixie thrives in a calm, structured home where her people are not gone for long hours. She requires at least one confident, friendly dog—preferably a male of similar size—to help her feel secure. She loves to run, play, so a secure, physical fenced yard attached to the home is essential.

Pixie is not an instant cuddle dog, but with time and consistency, she will become a deeply loyal, rewarding companion. She also requires regular professional grooming.

Pixie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
