Meet Capone!
This big, loving, loyal soul arrived at FAPL after being left alone in a home. He was understandably very timid at first (wouldn’t you be?) but this guy proved he wanted one thing- to be loved!! Capone is quite the cuddle bug- so be prepared for a few slobbery kisses!!! He has reacted positively to other dogs here at the shelter and lived with a cat. Capone so deserves to be out of the shelter and in a loving home!!
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.
If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
