Elm is a 2-year-old mixed breed weighing about 15 pounds, with a loving, playful personality and a bright, curious mind. He's house-trained and crate-trained, and he's happiest when he's close to his person, ideally curled up right on your lap.

Elm is not only incredibly affectionate once he feels safe, but also very smart and responsive. He thrives with structure, routine, and mental stimulation, and will do best with an adopter who enjoys engaging with their dog and helping him channel his energy in positive ways. He forms strong bonds and loves being near his person, always ready to soak up attention and give it right back. When he gets excited, he bursts into the cutest little hops and playful moments that are impossible not to love.

Right now, Elm is still learning how to navigate the world outside, especially in busy environments. The city can feel overwhelming for him, so he would do best in a more suburban or rural environment. He will need an adopter with some degree of experience who is ready to be consistent and continue his training, he has all the potential to truly thrive!
