DESCRIPTION
Veronica is an 8-month-old, 60 lb Terrier mix with a big personality, a zest for life, and... well... a very enthusiastic approach to birds. Let’s just say her previous living situation included a turkey, and Veronica took her "farmhand duties" a little too seriously.
Because of that, Veronica is looking for a fresh start with a family who understands that she’s still a young, energetic pup learning how to channel her instincts in the right direction. She’s not a bad dog—just one with a strong prey drive and a nose for adventure! The good news? Veronica is great with other dogs, especially ones who can keep up with her playful energy. She’s been primarily an indoor dog with access to outside exercise, and she’d love a home where she can stretch her legs, burn off energy, and then come back in for cuddles and downtime. Due to her natural instincts, Veronica would do best in a home without cats, small dogs, or... any future Thanksgiving centerpieces. If you’re an active household looking for a fun, spirited companion and you’re ready to help a smart young pup grow into her best self, Veronica just might be your girl.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
