Meet Scout!

Scout is the definition of shy at first, loyal forever. This sweet boy can be a little nervous when meeting new people or dogs, but give him a little time and he warms up beautifully. Once you’re in his circle, you’re in for life.

He is crate trained, potty trained, and kid, cat, and dog friendly. He may need slow, gentle introductions with new dogs, but he adjusts quickly once he feels safe.

Scout has the goofiest personality and keeps his foster family laughing with his silly antics. It did take him a little while to fully settle in with them too, but once he decided they were his people, he turned into a full-on Velcro dog. He loves to snuggle, and pets are his absolute favorite thing in the world. He will happily crawl into your lap and gently nudge you with his head until you give him the attention he deserves.

Toys are still a bit of a mystery to him, but human affection? He has that mastered.
