Doug and his siblings were found under a house in a rural town we help in South Texas. A kind person saw them and asked us for help. We were able to save them because one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home. Doug has been in our care since he was 5 weeks old, and he has completed his veterinary care. Now he’s ready to find a great family.
Doug is a very loving boy. He is smart and likes to be with anyone who will give him attention. He is almost house trained and learning to potty outside. He is crate trained and leash trained. He loves other dogs and has been with children as young as 6. He is 10 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds. We think he’s a Schnauzer mix.
Doug is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Doug can arrive in Connecticut on 3/14. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
