Zaphire is a sweet, gentle girl ready to find her forever home! This medium-energy pup loves playing with her dog friends before happily settling down to relax. Zaphire can be a little bashful when she first meets new people, but once she hears how good of a girl she is and gets a couple of belly rubs, she warms up fast and is all smiles and tail wags. She would do well in a calm, patient home ready to continue building her confidence.

Zaphire absolutely loves other dogs and thinks every dog she meets is her friend! Playing with them really helps her confidence shine, and she would likely do well with or without a canine sibling. Her easygoing, friendly nature suggests she would likely do fine with cats in the home. Zaphire has been around children ages 4 to 10 and does well with them, though she greets bigger and smaller humans alike, so she'd do best with dog-savvy kids.

Zaphire is a smart girl who is adjusting beautifully to all the new experiences in her life. She is fully crate trained and mostly house trained. She sleeps in her crate at night, eats her meals there, and has had no crate accidents. Zaphire has been doing really well with house training and will continue to improve with a consistent schedule and routine. She is improving her leash manners and is learning more with each walk.
