Meet Brownie - 3-Month-Old Spaniel Mix

Brownie is a beautiful 3-month-old, 22 lbs. female spaniel mix with the sweetest soul. She's incredibly lovey and cuddly, though still a bit timid at first. Once she learns to trust you, she will happily become your little shadow, following you everywhere and soaking up all the love she can get.

Because of her poor prior living conditions, Brownie had never experienced simple joys like toys or treats. At first, she didn't even know what they were. Now, she's blossomed into an amazing, playful puppy with normal high puppy energy and a growing love for treats -- especially cheese! Her favorite pastimes include playing fetch, tug-of-war, romping around with doggy friends, and curling up in your lap for a well-earned nap.

Brownie is crate trained and sleeps soundly and quietly through the night. She's still working on potty training and will need a patient, understanding family committed to continuing her progress and helping her build confidence.

She absolutely loves other dogs and plays as much as she can with them. A home with another friendly dog would be ideal, as she gains comfort and confidence from having a canine companion to follow and learn from. She has also become more relaxed around cats and should do well in a home with them.
