Gilbert is a 13-year-old male Pomeranian mix that sadly lost his owner recently. He was adopted from Foothill Dog Rescue in 2014 and was well taken care of based on current health. He loves to go out in the back yard and sniff around and enjoys chasing a squirrel or two. He looks forward to taking daily walks on the leash also. He likes being around his people and likes everyone, but is partial to women, since his late long-time owner was a woman.

Gilbert has quickly adapted to our foster care home, and acts right at home. He eats well and is always ready for a nap or to sleep all night. He is slightly timid and would do well in a quiet home with older people. He seldom barks, but did alert us when strangers came. He is used to a doggy door, but since we don't have one, he was very good at letting us know when he wanted out. He is bonded with his pal Beasley, and the two together would need no more effort than one alone.

They are easy keepers.

Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and fee for pups under 4 months old is $400 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card). Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
