Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dogs Available for Adoption

Rosie came to us from Horry County where she was picked up as a stray. She is fourteen years young. She had a chip, and the shelter was able to make contact, but was told that he gave the dog to the alternate contact and did not want her back. None of the other numbers worked.

Rosie is sweet and gentle and loves attention. She currently has colitis and some skin issues going on; it could be flea bite dermatitis, mange, or allergies. We will figure it out. She will get senior blood work, probably a dental and get caught up on vaccines. She is currently 17 lbs.

She is eating well and claimed a comfy bed her first night in foster and slept like she hasn't in years. Rosie walks well on leash, likes dogs, cats and people of all ages. She is crate-trained and rides well in the car. She handles busy, noisy environments well.

WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.

If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.

ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.

We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage or our
