Hi! Our names our Sissy and Trixie and we are trying to find a forever home together as we have always lived together. Our previous owners became homeless and had to start living out of a camper and could not take care of us so surrendered us to a small rescue. A volunteer with that rescue then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes ... yeah! Our previous owners said we are silky terriers but no one knows for sure, but our foster mom says we sure are cute. She also said to let you know that me/Trixie am the older one at around 6 years old, a little over 13lbs and have a more laid back type of personality, and me/Sissy am about 2 years old, right at 13lbs (Trixie may be my mom), and am an active little girl; it appears both of us have had multiple litters in the past. We both get along with all of the other small dogs we have met while in foster but Sissy is not crazy about those things called cats so we would like to find a home without them. We have done very well in our crate together without accidents or tearing up of any bedding although we would prefer to be out with you and may let you know not to forget about us if we see or hear you; we both love our food and eat side by side without any issues. We are good on leash and enjoy going for walks. If you would like to meet us, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
