Elsa - Siberian Husky Dog for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

What my friends at Oregon Humane say about me:
If you have a vacant lap, I would be glad to keep it warm!
I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets.
I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!
I'm very active and will need positive outlets for my energy.
Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
