Karen is an 8-year-old Husky who is finally getting her chance at the life she deserves after coming from a puppy mill. Despite her past, she is incredibly sweet and gentle, with so much love to give.
Karen gets along wonderfully with other dogs and does great with kids, making her a lovely addition to a family home. She has a calm, easygoing personality and is happiest just being around her people.
Like many mill dogs, Karen will benefit from continued structure and routine as she adjusts—but she’s already showing just how amazing she is. She could also stand to lose a few pounds, so a healthy diet and some regular activity will help her feel her best.
Karen prefers to eat her meals separately from other animals, as she doesn’t like to share her food—but that’s an easy accommodation for such a sweet girl.
