Siberian Husky Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi! My name is Banjo, and I’m an 8-year-old, 60 lb male Husky mix. I’m the sweetest, most friendly snuggle bug you could hope to meet.

Even though I’m a Husky mix, I’m actually a low-energy, laid-back guy who’s perfectly happy being a couch potato as long as I’m with my people. I love making new friends, soaking up the sunshine while sunbathing in the grass, and of course enjoying a few tasty treats along the way.

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and do great with kids, too! I haven’t lived with cats in my foster home yet, but I can be cat-tested if needed. I already know some basic commands like sit, paw, and wait, and I’m fully potty trained. I’m also very respectful in the home and not destructive — I just prefer not to be crated if I can help it.

I am heartworm positive, but great news — I’ve already completed my treatment and am on the road to a happy, healthy future!

*Disclaimer: Banjo is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.

The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
