Meet Buttercup - the Powerpuff Girl with a whole lot of puff and personality!
Buttercup is an adorable snowball of floof who came to us with her sisters, and we're hopeful that her parents will find foster homes soon as well. Both of her parents are white Siberian Huskies weighing around 50 lbs, so Buttercup is expected to grow into a medium-sized Husky. She is currently 15 weeks old and already showing off her sweet, mischievous charm.
Buttercup is playful, social, and absolutely loves being with her people. She isn't a fan of being crated away from them, but does just fine sleeping loose nearby or relaxing in a pen in the same room-she simply likes to keep her humans close.
True to her breed, Buttercup can be a picky eater and she's already embracing another classic Husky trait: she sings . Whether you find her vocal performances entertaining or a bit dramatic, it's all part of the Husky experience!
She does great with other dogs and kids, but hasn't been around cats yet. We recommend a home with cats only if the family (and the cat!) have experience teaching a puppy how to behave around feline friends. Huskies often have a prey drive, but with early training and proper introductions, many can learn to coexist peacefully.
As a Husky, Buttercup will need a securely fenced yard or a family committed to long leash walks and plenty of daily exercise to keep her happy and fulfilled.
