Meet Blossom - the Powerpuff Girl with brains, beauty, and a whole lot of puff!
Blossom is an adorable snowball of floof named after the Powerpuff Girls, and she truly lives up to the "all puff" title. She came to us with her sisters, and we're hopeful that her parents will find foster homes soon as well. Both of her parents are white Siberian Huskies weighing around 50 lbs, so Blossom is expected to grow into a medium-sized Husky. She is currently 15 weeks old and already stealing hearts.
Blossom is playful, social, and loves being with her people. She doesn't enjoy being crated away from them, but she does great sleeping loose nearby or resting in a pen in the same room-she just likes knowing her humans are close. She does have separation anxiety- probably because she was raised in a home where she was never alone.
Like many Huskies, Blossom she's showing off a classic breed trait: she sings . Whether you find her Husky serenades charming or a bit dramatic, it's all part of the package!
She does wonderfully with other most dogs and kids, but hasn't been around cats yet. We recommend a cat home only if both the family and the cat have experience helping a puppy learn respectful boundaries. Huskies often have a prey drive, but with early training and consistency, many can learn to live peacefully with feline companions. She is definitely pushy with new dogs and tests her boundaries with them. We recommend a confident dog who can teach her boundaries (a dog who gives into to her is just going to reinforce her behavior and she is smart enough to watch the humans and act angelic in front of them).
As a Husky, Blossom will need a securely fenced yard or a family committed to long leash walks and plenty of daily exercise to keep her happy and fulfilled.
Sweet, mischievous, fluffy, and full of charm, Blossom is ready to find her forever home and add a little Powerpuff magic to your life.
