Hi, my name is Juniper! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit well into most homes. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Friendly, spunky, smart, easy-going
-Can Live with Kids: Yes
-Can Live with Cats: Dog-savvy cats! Got along with kitties in previous home, slow and supervised introduction always.
-Can Live with Dogs: No Thanks. Previous owner stated she might do best being the only dog in the household but tolerates other dogs in short interactions.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks!
-Potty Trained: Seems to be!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, ready to go!
Looking for a new buddy who's out of this world, meet Juniper! True to her breed, she loves some action - this gal would love an active home where she can flaunt around her poofy tail and get her steps in. While Juniper is happiest on a walk or hike, she is a snuggle bug at heart - walks must be accompanied by plenty of pets and maybe some treats too!
Juniper got surrendered to us for not getting along with the resident dog, funny enough she still loves to play with some dogs! While Juniper must be the only dog in the home, that doesn't stop her from getting in some play time.
If you're looking for a perfect husky, consider meeting with Juniper!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
