Shih Tzu Dogs Available for Adoption in Silvana, Washington

We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Louis is an energetic guy who is ready for action. He would love to belong to a family that will include him in all their outdoor adventures. Louis was born to be someone's running, hiking or camping buddy. In between outings he can be found resting comfortably on the couch or bed near his people. Louis will need a securely fenced backyard where he can enjoy relaxing in the sunshine or doing zoomies. He really knows how to enjoy whatever life sends his way.

Louis is a bit of a boss and likes to be in charge when it comes to other dogs. He would enjoy a canine companion willing to let him be the leader. We don't think Louis has had experience with cats and he chases the resident feline in his foster home, therefore, we are asking for a home without them. Louis loves people of all ages and would be fine in a home with children who understand the importance of respecting animals. This boy has great house manners except for barking at strange noises and new people. Because of his barking he is not suited for apartment life.

Louis is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Any potential adopters should be willing to have him groomed regularly. Louis is 6 years old and weighs 16 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
