Looking for a sweet, easy-going companion? Meet Chika!

Chika is an adorable, six years-young Shih Tzu mix who may have a little Schnauzer and/or Poodle in her family tree. Whatever her mix, one thing is certain.... she is absolutely cute as a button and has a gentle, loving personality that makes her a joy to be around. As an added bonus, she does not shed.

Chika is housetrained, well-mannered, and easy to live with. She loves attention and enjoys spending time with her people, but she's also perfectly content when left alone for reasonable periods. She has a calm, sweet nature and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance best friend.

She gets along well with other dogs but is not a fan of cats. Chika has done great with her guardians' grandchildren during visits, although she has never lived with children full-time.

Chika's current elderly guardians love her dearly, but due to their health issues, they can no longer provide the care she deserves. They are hoping to find her a loving new home where she can continue to be cherished. To help make her transition easier, lots of her supplies will go with her.
