Oh my! To have this much spunk at his age! Jett is one remarkable little 13 year old shih tzu. So incredibly sweet, gentle and affectionate. While he may be vertically challenged that doesn't slow him down on walks! He literally jumps for joy when his sees his leash and harness. The morning ritual greeting of tireless zoomies is a great way to start your day!
Since he's been with us we learned that he has a grade 4/6 heart murmur - sadly not terribly uncommon for the breed. But, he had a great visit with Cornell Cardiology department who felt that he doesn't even need medication at this time and declared him a good candidate for dental surgery so he's had that taken care of too. Cardiology did recommend annual monitoring. While we were at Cornell, he had a consult with ophthalmology where it was determined that he had lost vision in his left eye - likely due to an earlier illness or trauma. But, you'd never know it!

The adoption fee for adult dogs is $225. All have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, DH(L)PP, have had a complete fecal analysis, treated for internal and external parasites, given flea and tick preventative, heartworm tested, are on heartworm preventative and are microchipped.
