• Cautious and curious — Cocoa is taking in the world one new experience at a time, from stairs to toys to just being inside a home
• Sweet and gentle girl with a beautiful dark chocolate coat to match her name — smart, funny, and full of personality once she trusts you
• Would do best in a home without children
• Takes a few days to warm up to new people — she needs to do things on her own terms, but give her a little time and she will come right around
• A true velcro dog who loves being close to her person, and absolutely lives for belly rubs
• Always hungry and eager — she picks things up quickly, which means with some patience and consistency she is going to be a total star
• Leash walking is still new, but a pack walk helped everything click — she is already figuring it out
• Working on crate training
• Does well with housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule and diet — just keep an eye on her and she will get there
• Would do best in a house with a yard — not well suited for apartment or condo living
• Dog friendly — does best with calmer dogs, as chaotic energy tends to scare her
