Joe - Shih Tzu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

** Come meet me this Saturday (09.05.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart for our Mobiles adoption event! This event is from 10am-2pm, or until all animals are adopted!

This is a first-come, first-served event, so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind. PetSmart doors open at 9am, and we will begin distributing adoption numbers at that time. Please head to the back of the store and check in at the event table.

This event operates on a number system. Upon arrival, please be sure to get your number from our check in table—groups will be called in order throughout the event.

To receive a number, you must be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. Paper applications will be available on-site, and you can also apply in advance through our website.

Please note, if they are signed up to attend the event they cannot be met with or adopted prior to the event.

This sweet puppy has lived with a foster his whole life and came to his current foster home at 3 weeks old. Friendly and loving from the start, he has always loved hia human companions! A brave little guy, he adores playing, either with a new favorite toy or wrestling with his sister or mama dog. He'll let you know hes having fun with an adorable little bark or noise as he learns how to talk. When he's all tuckered out his favorite spot is your lap, and will happily climb up to give you some puppy kisses! He has also been around cats, and while he is still learning whose up for play time, he has mever shown any aggression. He has not been on a leash but has loved running in his play pen outside! He is also just starting his house training journey, and will need additional training. Also making his transition to wet food he is a fan of wet food, especially warmed up. He's comfortable eating alone or with a friend, and has also had dry food mixed in with his wet. This little puppy is waiting to find his jew best friend and is the perfect puppy for anyone looking for an emergetic companion!
