Coco may look like a tiny gremlin, but this 14-month-old Shih Tzu is bursting with personality. Weighing just 6 pounds and already full grown, Coco is a pint-sized white pup with adorable black spots and the perfect mischievous gremlin expression.
What he lacks in size, Coco more than makes up for in attitude. He has a big dog personality in a tiny body and truly believes his 6 pounds are more like 60! He has no hesitation challenging much larger dogs, which can occasionally get him into trouble. Because of this, Coco would likely do best with another dog who can handle his bossy little personality and keep him in check. Overall he does pretty well with other dogs, and we think he could also do fine living with cats. Coco has done okay with kids so far, though his bold personality means respectful children would be best.
House training is still a work in progress, so his new family should be patient and consistent as he continues learning.
One thing to know about Coco: his voice matches his personality! He has a big bark for a tiny dog and can be quite vocal. Because of this, he may not be the best fit for homes with very close neighbors or situations where a noisy dog could cause problems.
Like all Shih Tzus, Coco will need a family committed to regular grooming to keep his coat looking and feeling its best.
