Meet LADYBUG, a sweet young 10ish pound Shih Tzu girl looking for a home. Ladybug is a happy little wiggle butt who was surrendered to a rural shelter. Someone bought her from a breeder but didn't want to be bothered having her groomed. She's right around 1 year old and was a matted mess when she arrived. Her grooming involved cutting off painful mats so she's pretty closely clipped. Ladybug is dog friendly, not cat tested yet. Ladybug will require regular grooming appointments to keep her from looking and feeling great. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
