At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

💚 Meet Ulysses 💚 A devoted little companion who just wants to be close. Ulysses is a sweet, long-haired boy with an affectionate, people-oriented nature and a coat that will need consistent haircuts to keep him comfortable and tidy. He is a major lover who simply wants to be by your side all day long, happily soaking up attention and companionship wherever you are. He came to us from the recent 62-dog home we assisted with, and it is clear he was loved, as he has done well with kids and other dogs. Ulysses learned to use puppy pads in his previous home and is now being introduced to a dog door in foster care, and his loyal, shadow-like devotion makes him the perfect little sidekick for someone wanting constant company.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
