Juno (Alleged Criminal, Actually a Gentleman)
Let me guess.
You saw “bites” and immediately pictured a tiny land shark with a vendetta.
Yeah… no.
This is Juno.
A Shorkie. Approximately the size of a baked potato with opinions.
He was dumped at a kill shelter because he “bites.”
Which, in human terms, usually translates to:
👉 “I ignored every warning sign this dog gave me.”
👉 “I picked him up like a stress ball.”
👉 “I don’t believe small dogs are allowed to have boundaries.”
And when Juno finally said, “absolutely not,”
he got labeled the problem.
Classic.
Here’s the truth:
Juno is sweet, affectionate, and loyal—to people who treat him like a living creature instead of a wind-up toy.
He’s not out here looking for trouble.
He’s out here looking for respect.
What does Juno need?
• Someone who understands that “no” is a complete sentence—even in dog
• A home that won’t manhandle him or ignore his signals
• Probably not tiny kids who think he’s a plush toy with a heartbeat
• Someone who appreciates a dog with a little personality (read: standards)
What do you get in return?
• A devoted little shadow
• A dog who bonds HARD with his person
• Endless entertainment in a compact, slightly judgmental package
• The satisfaction of proving that “biter” was a lazy label, not a life sentence
Let’s be very clear:
Juno did not almost die because he’s a bad dog.
He almost died because someone didn’t listen.
If you’re the kind of person who does listen?
Congratulations—you might just be worthy of this tiny, opinionated king.
Apply accordingly.
