Meet Pixie, a tiny whirlwind of personality!

This 4 year old Shih Tzu/Terrier mix has a permanent case of wild bed head that somehow matches her spunky spirit perfectly. She may only weigh 12 pounds, but she is overflowing with comical charm, affection, and just the right amount of sass.

We are not sure what Pixie's past looked like, only that she found her way to a kind lady's home in search of food. When no one came forward to claim her, Pixie began her next chapter in a foster home, where she is discovering the joys of a pampered life!

She loves exploring, showing off her playful side, and fully embracing a routine that includes plenty of treats and being treated like royalty. Pixie will make you laugh with her silly antics, melt your heart with her sweet expressions, and happily snuggle beside you for quiet moments of love. She has a special way of turning even the simplest day into an adventure just by being herself.

At first, Pixie can be a little shy and prefers to take her time getting comfortable. Give her a few days and her true personality comes bursting out. She is fun loving, goofy, and full of spunk. When the zoomies hit, her short legs turn into a bouncing blur that is guaranteed to make you laugh. She even has a funny little howl that makes an appearance when she is extra excited or not quite getting her way.

Pixie also knows how to slow down and enjoy the little things. She loves curling up for couch cuddles and snuggling in bed with her people at night. She enjoys walks and car rides, bouncing with excitement the moment she sees the leash come out. She is potty trained, though she prefers you to join her outside for her last potty break before bed.

While Pixie has not been introduced to kids yet, we feel she would do best in a home with older, calm children. She can startle easily if she is not expecting to be picked up and may cry out in fear. That is the extent of her reaction, but to ensure she feels safe and secure, we are looking for a quieter and more relaxed home environment.
