Shih Tzu and Poodle Dogs Available for Adoption

NEW INTAKE 4/10/2026: Love Bird - female - 1 year old - 5.6 pounds - Shih Tzu/ Poodle mix

Reason for intake: Love Bird is an owner-surrender. There is a new baby in the home and the single mother is overwhelmed. Love Bird is a little jumpy so as the human baby gets older, it may not be a good mix. She did the right thing, so please, no negative comments. She is already spayed but we need to do a few things at our vet and then she'll be ready for adoption. Stay tuned!

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note... we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
