Matcha — A Little Fighter With a Big Heart
Matcha came to us from Laredo, Texas, after being given to one of our street rescuers. She arrived matted from head to toe and had to be shaved down for her comfort and health. As her coat grows back, she’ll benefit from professional grooming to help her feel her best again.
She’s a Shih Tzu–Dachshund mix with a rough beginning, but you’d never know it from her spirit. Matcha is a super sweet girl, gentle, loving, and so grateful for every bit of kindness she receives. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start fresh with a family who will cherish her.
Matcha has all the makings of a wonderful companion — she just needs someone to give her the chance she’s been waiting for.
Matcha is located in Hondo, Texas
She is CHAGAS and heartworm negative.
