Shiba Inu Dogs Available for Adoption

Koda is cuddly, well behaved, adorable and smart. He's learning to walk well on the leash, he doesn't jump excessively or nip like some puppies do.

He sits sweetly when asked, and when out walking, even when other dogs are reactive, he waits patiently for them to go by. He is dog friendly and doing great working on potty training in his foster home.

The Shiba Inu is a small to medium sized dog breed known for its fox like appearance, with a curled tail and upright ears. Originating from Japan, Shiba Inus are independent, alert, and spirited dogs. They are loyal to their families but can be reserved around strangers. Recognized for their bold and confident nature, Shiba Inus require consistent training and socialization to thrive. With a thick double coat and a distinct red, sesame, or black and tan coloration, Shiba Inus are charming companions for active individuals or families.
