Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie and Australian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

BOOMER IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS/WATERLOO, IOWA.

Boomer is a sweet, cuddly, and incredibly smart puppy who absolutely loves people and being part of the action. He enjoys chewing on bones, hanging out with his humans, and soaking up all the snuggles he can get. His foster describes him as a total cuddle bug and honestly a little baby genius because he learns so quickly and is eager to please.

Boomer is crate trained and has not had a single potty accident so far, but as a young puppy he will still need continued routine and consistency as he adjusts to a new home. He walks well on a leash and is doing great learning everyday manners. Grooming is still a work in progress, as Boomer is not a fan of being brushed yet, but with patience and positive reinforcement he will continue improving.

He does great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. Like all puppies, Boomer has typical puppy energy and will need a family ready to continue training, socialization, and structure as he grows.

Boomer will be adopted under a spay/neuter contract. His adoption fee is $500, with $100 reimbursed upon proof of spay/neuter. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped.
