This boy is as handsome as he is smart, loyal, and loving. At 5 years old and 77 pounds, Rio is the perfect Husky Shepherd mix. majestic on the outside and a total cuddle bug on the inside.

Rio has been patiently waiting for his forever home for 2 years, simply because hes a bigger boy and has protective traits that sometimes make people overlook him. If someone new comes over to the house, he just needs slow introductions to make sure theyre safe people. He is just a LOYAL soul who loves deeply.

Ask anyone who has met him: Rio is gentle, AFFECTIONATE, and truly the whole package. He is house trained, well mannered, and wonderful on leash. He loves walks, hikes, and adventures, but hes just as happy cuddling up by your side!

Rio enjoys his crate and feels safe there, especially when guests come over, its his cozy space to relax. Hes good with other dogs with proper introductions but would be perfectly content as your one and only best friend. Hes great at the dog park!

This boy loves belly rubs, treats, and affection. Hes very food motivated and learns quickly, making him an easy and fun companion. Whether you have an active lifestyle or a calm home, Rio will fit right in.
