Meet Bandit, a pretty, sassy, goofy, energetic pup ready to party! Bandit is approx. 2 years old, does great with dogs and cats that want to play (she will take a cue eventually, but tries a couple times before giving up, lol). She loves to initiate play and gets a good game of chase going every time. She is fluffy soft, with the sweetest brown eyes. She is slight in build at under 30 lbs, but her fluff disguises her size and makes her look larger. She recently went to the salon and had a great grooming session.

Bandit was rescued as a dog tied up on a 3 ft chain when her owner passed on, uncertain what each day held for her. As such, she is wildly excited to run and we are working on recall as well as showing her a home is not a place to "escape", but to relax and enjoy human and canine company. She will need a home with a fenced yard or an owner that will work with her on her home boundaries before trusting her off leash. But, she loves a good walk, a ride in the car, and visiting her canine friends.

She is first shy with new people, cautiously sniffing when you aren't looking but can back away. She definately is more comfortable with women and children, and her ideal home is a single lady or mama with kids old enough to handle her play tendancy. However, as we get more people around her (including men), she is quickly understanding she is safe and doesn't need to worry: people are fun! That said, we think she will always prefer to be a Nanny to your littles and a "girl's girl" type of pup, but a patient man (not sensitive to her preferences for the ladies) can be part of a successful household for Bandit as well. :)
