Daisy is a mixed breed puppy who has already survived more than any young dog ever should. She was found discarded in a dumpster behind Milbankes Flowers, frightened, hungry, and alone.
When she arrived, she was incredibly ravenous and thirsty, as if she had not had consistent access to food or water. She was offered small amounts of canned and dry food along with water, which she eagerly accepted.
Daisy is very thin and arrived with an open wound on her upper abdomen, just above her umbilicus. She is now receiving the care she needs as she begins her healing journey.
Even after such a rough start, Daisy is a survivor. With proper nutrition, medical care, and a safe place to rest, she has every chance to grow into a healthy, happy companion. She will need a loving, committed home that can continue supporting her recovery and show her the kindness she has always deserved.
Daisy's story could have ended differently, but she was found in time. Now she is looking forward to a future filled with safety, comfort, and love.
