DESCRIPTION

Introducing Ivy a 1 year plus Berger Picard (French herding shepherd) Ivy is 40lbs and when fully mature should be 50-55 lbs.

Ivy is a highly energetic playful girl, another young playful dog is a must have to be with Ivy.

She is sweet loving dog with high herding instinct she herds the resident dogs in her foster home and possibly be a little too active to be around small children.

A fenced yard is a must have for Ivy.

Ivy loves to be with her people she wants to be close and is a big lap dog. Ivy walks good on a leash, sleeps in a kennel at night she's almost completely house broken. Ivy is very intelligent she knows sit, stay, down, come, and has good recall.

Ivy is nondestructive and will sit and wait for her food to be put down.

To adopt Ivy, one must read info on Berger Picard breed and be cautious around small children. Have a companion dog and a fenced in yard.

Ivy would make a wonderful companion she just wants to have love and affection.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Ivy’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
