Marigold - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Greensboro, North Carolina

Marigold raised her puppies, watched them move on to rescue, and is still waiting for someone to choose her.

Marigold is a 6-year-old, 42 lb girl who came to us with her three puppies. She had a rough start at the shelter and struggled to understand that the people around her were there to help. With time and patience, she's finally let her guard down, and we've gotten to see the affectionate girl underneath.

Marigold walks beautifully gentle on leash and loves spending time cuddling with her favorite people. She even rubs against you like a cat when she wants belly rubs.

Marigold is attentive, affectionate and gentle when handled, including being carried when needed. She also greets dogs of different ages and sizes appropriately at the shelter and appears to be houset rained.

After everything she's been through, Marigold has finally learned that people can be trusted. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the same patience that helped her come out of her shell.

As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
