Meet Gary “Legs” Potato! ❤ï ̧

Gary is an approximately 2-year-old, 90-pound Shepherd mix with a heart just as big as he is!

Despite his impressive size, Gary is surprisingly gentle, especially with kids. He’s wonderful with children and does great with other dogs—including the little ones in his foster home. He’s a submissive guy who can be a little intimidated by loud barking, but overall he’s an easygoing, sweet-natured boy.

Gary is also a dream on leash and walks very nicely. We’re told he does well with cats, too, although that’s something we still need to confirm.

Now, Gary does have one very important talent: he is apparently an escape artist. Somehow, this 90-pound dog managed to squeeze through the bottom of a crate like a cat! So clearly, he’s not going to be impressed by your standard security measures.

Once he’s out and about, though, Gary is a pretty polite house guest. He’s happy to chill around the house and hang out with his people. Just remember that when you’re 90 pounds and everything is conveniently mouth-height, the kitchen counters may require a little supervision.

Gary is a big, gentle, goofy boy who would love a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a giant sweetheart with a silly personality and an even bigger heart, Gary might just be your guy! ❤ï ̧

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
