DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Susan, a senior shepherd lady with soulful eyes, good manners, and a very laid-back approach to life. I'd love to spend my golden years enjoying the simple things with a person who appreciates a calm, sweet companion.
I seem to be potty-trained, and I do my best to be a polite houseguest. I'm not much of a toy girl-while other dogs are busy chasing balls, I'd much rather explore the yard and take in everything happening around me. I especially enjoy listening to the birds. You may notice me cocking my head from side to side as I carefully practice my birdsong identification. A girl has to keep her skills sharp!
I'm easygoing, gentle, and wonderfully chill. I don't need constant entertainment or a packed schedule. Give me a little time to sniff around, a peaceful place to relax, and someone kind to share it all with, and I'm happy. If you're looking for a mellow shepherd with a thoughtful soul and an appreciation for birdsong, I might just be your girl. Do you have room in your heart for a sweet senior lady like me?
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
