Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Betty Dee, an old soul with the sweetest, most gentle heart. She has a friendly disposition that makes everyone feel like they’ve known her forever. In her spare time, she happily plays catch with herself, tossing her toy in the air like it’s the greatest game ever invented. She’s wonderful with other dogs and knows just how to share the fun. Betty Dee is both kennel trained and house trained, making her an easy and polite companion. She absolutely loves pets and will lean in close for extra affection whenever she can. With her quirky little habits and loving nature, Betty Dee is ready to bring warmth and joy to her forever home.

Betty Dee is a 10-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Betty Dee is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
