Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Maya is a 2.5 year old, 41 lb female Shepherd mix.

Maya is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home after adoption.

This smart and active girl is Maya. She is a friendly pup that loves to play and does well with other dogs, or with dog friendly cats. She is affectionate and enjoys a good cuddle session, but would probably prefer a game of fetch prior to the cuddles. She enjoys toys, especially balls. Would love a fenced yard so she can run around when the urge hits! She also does well on a leash and would love a few brisk walks daily, in order to maintain her trim figure. Maya is crate and potty trained, and also knows a few basic commands. She will alert to strangers (or the Amazon delivery guy) but is not a nuisance barker otherwise. Maya came from Animal Control, but her sweet nature and rather petite size helped her stand out. Her foster says she is a wonderful girl and a lot of fun, so if you're looking for an active buddy to help you stay in shape, or a cuddle buddy who will snuggle up on the couch, Maya may just be the girl for you!

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $500 adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.
