Helen is a sweet, fun-loving girl who brings a perfect balance of independence and affection into the home. She’s happy doing her own thing but also likes to stay close to her people. With her gorgeous brindle coat—medium in length, incredibly soft, and low-shedding—she’s as beautiful as she is lovable.

Helen absolutely adores meeting new people. Treats and pets are the quickest way to her heart, and she’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. She may have a bit of herding breed in her, which means the unpredictable energy of young children can make her a little nervous. Because of this, she’d thrive best in a calmer home environment.
In her foster home, Helen has made fast friends with another dog—quickly becoming “best sisters.” They love to play and wrestle, then take breaks to nap and recharge. While she can do well with other dogs, her reactions on walks can be inconsistent, so she’ll benefit from continued training. The good news? She’s very treat-motivated and already working on commands like “leave it.”
Helen is an active girl who loves to get outside. Whether it’s a long walk, a 3–4 mile run, or a game of fetch in a fenced yard, she’s always ready for adventure. After she’s had her fun, she’s perfectly content to relax—whether that’s stretched out on the floor, curled up in her bed, or lounging on the couch.
She has excellent house manners—she’s fully house-trained, sleeps peacefully wherever she’s comfortable, enjoys car rides, and even tolerates baths like a pro.
Helen is looking for a home that will give her the exercise she loves, continue building her confidence around other dogs, and provide a calm, supportive environment. In return, you’ll get an affectionate, playful, and incredibly soft companion who will happily join you on all of life’s adventures.
