DESCRIPTION
This is Simon. He's a smart one! He was the first to figure out how to get out of the pen and also the first one to let himself back in when he got hungry. Also, he not only figured out how to use the doggy door on his own, but he took himself out to potty! He's a sweetheart. Enjoys ear rubs and snuggles. He's very persistent. He keeps trying until he figures something out. (Including trying to make friends with our very large, semi-grumpy lab!) He gets along great with kids and dogs, large and small. He also loves to play, enjoys squeaky toys and balls. He has an adorable pink and black nose and 2 hazel eyes.
We do think Simon will be 50-70lbs full grown
Simon is current on vaccines, heart worm and flea prevention.
He has been vetted, dewormed and microchipped.
His adoption fee will come with a voucher to have him neutered at one of the local facilities that we use.
If you are interested in Simon, please visit our website to submit an application www.thepuppyrescue.com

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
