Bella has heartworm which means she needs rest and to be calm while she gets fixed up. The good thing is that HRA will take care of all her treatments free of charge if you adopt her.

Bella is a wonderful love muffin who leans in when getting pets. She just soaks up all the love you have and she will give oodles of love in return. Bella is a very sweet and oh so pretty doggie with the most charming smile. She is attentive, curious and wonderful. She is very eager for a warm and inviting home where she can be a beloved family member. Please meet Bella soon- she so needs LOVE!

We are DC's only open-access shelter. We are always available to help any animal in the District of Columbia. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, and more available for adoption out of our two shelters and also run the Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center.
