Meet Stoney, a 4-month-old, 30lb Husky/Shepherd mix who is currently auditioning for the role of your home’s "Chief Problem Solver". With his striking heterochromia—one piercing blue eye and one warm brown eye—he’s got a look that says he’s either contemplating the mysteries of the universe or plotting exactly how to get that sock off the counter.
The Lowdown on Stoney:
Personality: He’s a bit aloof at first, preferring to observe you with a cool air rather than bowling you over with immediate affection. Once he decides you're cool, though, his sweet side shines through.
The Crate: He is fully crate trained and treats his space like a private VIP lounge where he can retreat from his busy schedule of mischief.
Potty Training: He is currently a freshman in Potty Training 101. He understands the concept, but his "final exams" occasionally result in a few extra paper towels.
Walking: He’s just beginning his leash training. On walks, he’s more of a "curious tourist" than an athlete, needing to investigate every single blade of grass.
If you have a solid sense of humor and a high-shelf storage system, Stoney is ready to bring his unique brand of independent charm to your family.
He will be neutered when he gets a bit older before going to his home. He is currently located in Wilson, TX. You can apply for him here: https://form.jotform.com/220199338769066
Stoney is available throughout the PNW, Midwest and NE thanks to Project Freedom Ride. You can read more about them here: https://www.projectfreedomride.org
