Looking for a best friend who will love you with her whole heart? Meet Hazel, a sweet-natured girl who is ready to melt into your life and become your most loyal companion.
Get ready to get swoon, watch why everyone is having a total Hazel-melt once they see this sweet girl in action!

We believe Hazel is a Shepherd mix. She is a perfect portable 45 pounds. As a rescue gal, her breed and final size are our very best "educated guesses," but we can definitely guarantee she is 100% a certified cutie!
Hazel is the ultimate partner for someone looking to add a smart, gentle, and highly motivated best friend to their family. She is as cute as they come and twice as sweet, acting as a true little shadow who lives for human connection and that special once in a lifetime bond.
Hazel just makes people melt, with a personality that fills the room. She is the perfect blend of social butterfly and focused, currently thriving in a foster home with a pack of dogs and a 4-year-old child. If you’re looking for a dog who is as sweet as she is smart, Hazel is your girl.
Hazel is a "people person" at heart. Although she can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, she does great with slow introductions and warms up quickly. By the end of a playdate, she’s usually everyone’s best friend.
Hazel is a wonderful social companion who genuinely loves being around other dogs. She greets politely on leash and, once she’s had a chance to say hello, her curiosity and friendliness really shine. Her playstyle is sweet and observant—she prefers running alongside her canine friends, happily acting as the “co-pilot” rather than jumping into rough play.
She is a loyal sidekick who is already crate trained and ready for her next adventure. She is great with children and would truly thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and explore, as she loves having her own space to roam, play with her favorite toys, and hang out with her favorite human.
Although Hazel has an endless supply of love for her human and canine friends. She is looking for a home without feline friends so she can shower all her attention and affection on her human and canine companions. No kitties for Hazel.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
