Fezz was part of a litter that was seen being thrown out of a truck during the recent Texas freeze. Despite that rough start, she is a super sweet, friendly three month old Shepherd mix who loves attention and wants to make friends.
Fezz is curious and playful, with that classic puppy energy. She can be a little shy at first, but she is affectionate, goofy, and eager to please once she settles in. She enjoys toys and loves being around people. Like most young pups, she is vocal when she's hungry, playing, or wanting attention.
She is currently trained to use potty pads or a specific corner of the room and will need continued training to transition to going outside. Like any puppy, she needs patience, consistency, and guidance as she learns leash skills, house training, and basic manners.
Fezz does not require another dog, but having one in the home could help her learn by example, and a built in friend to play with! Most importantly, she needs a patient family who understands puppy energy and is ready to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.
Fezz is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 03/07/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
