Kipper is a Cinderella story! Look into those gorgeous eyes! Here is a dog with Hope! Kipper is a four year old, possible Shepherd / Doberman mix. He's a big boy at 70 pounds with a beautiful two tone reddish tan coat. You have seen where he started, from living on a chain, to quickly becoming a superstar! He has been placed with an expert trainer in the Paws Behind Bars Training Program and this pup has made an amazing turnaround. From not understanding how to relate appropriately to humans or other dogs, to rockin' the social scene! It's been a process! He has needed the four months in training to learn to adapt to human interaction and also how to play and socialize nicely and appropriately with other canines. Kipper was used to reacting in his old environment which is what you do on the end of a chain as watching movement is the only form of stimulation you have! He's now a star student and has learned to "sit", "stay", "down", "come", "touch", "place" and "leave it." He is also potty trained, crate trained, can "shake", "wait", "sit pretty", "fetch" and MORE! Kipper will do best with a family that will continue his training as he has only been in school for four months to learn a lifetime of good manners, commands, and socialization.
